Collecting our new splitty

Post by Kombi Trip »

Well we (my eldest son and I) got to know this lovely bus with a road trip from Melbourne to Adelaide (about 750 km). What a great experience. Sadly did not see another kombi to wave to the whole way.
I think we hit every bug in the region! The canola crops in flower looked amazing at the moment. Great spring weather for a cruising trip.
I reckon this is going to give us heaps of enjoyment.... I also feel a bit like a museum curator!

Congrats Nick it looks a great bus. Also, really like the pics with the Munsters house in the background!

Where will you build garage no. 3?

Hey Michael.. the Munsters House is just the Adelaide side of Kaniva (or as my wife calls it gimmy gimmy wanna wanna  )
Every time I drive by it I want to take a photo... this time I had a great reason. Might have to start outsourcing garage space!.... or sell something
