found some old lead repairs i had to get rid of but who ever did them did a bloody good job,i didnt see them till the grinding sparks stopped which gave them away
hows that for lead fill!!
ground back came out ok, looked a little closer and found abit more rust
done almost
time to take the front panels off , inner valance wasnt the best!!!!! the whole front was rooted
rusty?
i tried sticky tape but it doesnt work!!!
needed to do some repairs on the drivers side ,had a tap years ago, it hadnt put too much out of place but needed to be repaired but i did notice that the top hinge has been movedslightly inwards so that needs to be fixed as well, bitch of a job that will be but ill do it before the front skin goes on so ive got some acess to the back of the hindge mount or something like that anyway
someone got the bronze out and had a go
hard to see the dents in the pillar but they are there and some were deepish!
the new
old
welded in and ground ,i braced the sides of the piller while the panel was welded in and there was no movement that i could see ,ill find out when the new skin goes on
