Here is one of my projects. It's a 57 11 window that I picked up from a farm in NSW. The plan is to detail the under side, Big nut gearbox and new engine. I'll post a few more pictures when I'm able to resize them.

Looks just like mine!
Although mine has doors and a bumper, just no engine
Love the colour. goes well with dark grey.
My busses may be rusty and they may not go but damn, they look cool!

The shotgun blast is staying for authenticity. I'm just waiting on some sills and out riggers and if anyone has a spare passenger door the same colour and would like to get rid of it please give me a call on 0402081845. Thanks

A big-nut gearbox is a frog for blokes like merv hughes.

A Big Nut Gearbox is about a 64 and onwards splitty gearbox. Around this time they changed the ratios of the reduction boxes which makes for lower RPM at Highway speeds, and put a bigger nut on the axel, hense, Big Nut.

Thanks, Adam.
In many ways I'm still on my L plates as far as Splitty mechanicals go.
Cheers & God Bless
