2 questions please, the chassis no is 503565 can anyone help with the year
& second question can anyone help with the exact brake light position, someone must have a bus with the small brake light.
as the pic shows it has been welded up due to previous owner hacking the
shit out of the tail to install later lights.

i'll measure it up tonight... ive actually got a rooted tailgate, i could cut you out a template, eg the top 4 inches and stick it in a post tube

btw, looks like august '59

There is an early and late position. Save the diagram in paint and enlarge it a bit so you can read the text.

I just checked my original workshop manual and it has the same drawing. If you cant read the dimensions let us know and I send you them. Did you win that parts manual on ebay??

yep nick, i was a bit surprised with the winning bid of $199, i was expecting
around the 3 or 4 hundred mark but not knocking that price.
i just ordered that bentley manual with the measurements looks very detailed if the brake lights are anything to go by.
painting of the bus is getting closer.
