Ended up in Noosa for a few days, tough place to hang out.....
Caught up with Jim Cairns and checked out his Ambulance Bus and buggy and then we paid visit to Ricks Diner in the 911
Thanks for also taking the time to catch up Squidy

Made a stop at the aircraft museum in Caboolture on the way down and then a quick bite to eat before going through to Brissie
A couple of nights in Brisvegas
Hit the Goldy today and within 5 minutes of stopping at a cafe in Tedder Ave, my ex wife who is in town for a couple of days to help a friend spotted the kombi..... its a small world!

Re: Road Trip - Darwin to the East Coast
Hi Jock, the plan is to be in Adelaide for Xmas with the family. I'll definitely be doing the Great Ocean Road towards SA so would love to catch up.
Made it down to Byron early arvo. Its mental.......schoolies everywhere I didn't think there would be so many here. A bay window owner spotted me driving in and followed me to the car park - a bit of yin and yang I went for a wander to grab some lunch and have a look around and this was parked next to me when I got back EK I think? If anyone in Byron wants to catch up for a beer give me a buzz - 0456 six one one 422. I think I'll only stay here another night or two and head south again on the weekend to Yamba where it might be a little more serene!
